This Longines Honour and Glory Olympic Games Limited Edition Wrist Chronograph (C1999) and Split Second Pocket Chronograph (C. 1968) is a limited edition set of only 600 sets ever issued in 2000 to commemorate the Sydney Olympic Games. The set includes two watches. The first is a Longines Flyback Pocket Chronograph in a 66.4mm x 25.2mm SS case with silver dial and a split chronograph scale with a vernier, useful for measure sporting events to an accuracy of a fraction of a second. This pocket chronograph was actually used for the 1968 Olympics. The L262 (Longines Original 1968 construction 23-jewel manual winding movement has a power reserve of 44 hours...The Longines chronograph wristwach is in a 42mm x 14.8mm SS snap back case with sapphire crystal and display back, water resistant to 30 meters. The silver dial has day and date at three and a vernier scale on the chronograph . The crown is unsigned, and the pushers are flat. The watch is on a signed black leather strap with tang type buckle showing some signs of use. The Longines cal L674 (Valjoux 7750) 25-jewel movement works properly and the watch is keeping time and the chronograph operates as it should. No issues with either item but no service history is avaiable and this item is being sold as pre-owned in good working condition and without warranty. This 1965 Breitling Superocean chronograph Ref#2005 which bears the serial# 11053212 is in near mint condition...powered by a modified Valjoux 7731 movement which looks new...case, dial, crown and movement are all correctly signed Breitling and the dial is in excellent condition...the bezel rotates as it is supposed to and the chronograph engages correctly resetting to zero as supposed to. The second hand looking hand is actually a minute recording hand when the chronograph is engaged. It moves so slow that you initually think it's not working...the round window above the "6" that on the pictures is showing black and when the chronograph is engaged a little disc inside turns and a little white dot shows. When you stop the chronograph than the disc turns again and the entire window shows in white once you reset the chronograph to zero the disc turns again and it shows the black again. They did that so you could tell that the chronograph is engaged because at a climpse on the minute hand you wouldn't be able to tell...stk# 0094...
